Psychometric Testing

JIGSAW consultants are licensed to undertake the following Psychometric Assessments:

Thomas International PPA System

The Human Job Analysis (HJA) provides a description of the behavioural requirements of a job. The Personal Profile Analysis (PPA) is used to assess the individuals self-image, work strengths, self-motivation and comment on job emphasis, frustration and the ideal boss. The key areas that the PPA identifies are the individual's Dominance, Influence over others, Steadiness and Compliance.

This tool is useful for identifying people who would be most likely to be successful in the role. The HJA and PPA are suitable tools for recruitment and selection. The PPA has a number of additional uses including identifying training needs, coaching and motivating more skillfully on the job.

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®)

Carl Jung originally identified personality 'types' in 1921, following the publication of his book into English his theories were extensively tested, researched and refined. In 1942, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator was developed by Katherine Briggs and her daughter Isabel Briggs-Myers.

This particular test continues to be the choice of many when using personality types to identify the strengths and weaknesses within teams and identifying communication issues, individual preference and an understanding of how individuals interact. This is not a tool suitable for recruitment and selection.
